Overview[]
Curtiss Jackson was a powerful underworld figure and a cutthroat businessman. He was the leader of the West Division branch of the corporate empire known as the Corporation and a frequent foe of the Hulk and Captain America. He was repsonsible for assassinating his East Division counterpart Eugene Stivak. Curtiss Jackson eventually took on the alias of the Power Broker, and imparted designer super-powers unto anybody willing to pay his price. Hunted down by the mysterious Scourge of the Underworld, Jackson was forced to undergo his own treatments, with less than satisfactory results. When the process caused him to become a disfigured freak, Jackson was forced to wear a specially-designed exoskeleton.
