The Crimson Avenger is a four-issue comic book limited series published by DC Comics. It ran from June to September 1988 and features the character of Lee Travis - the Crimson Avenger. The series was written by the husband and wife team of Roy & Dann Thomas with artwork and inks by Greg Brooks. It was colored by Bill Wray and lettered by Helen Vesik. The series was edited by Roy Thomas with Mark Waid as associate editor.

- The Crimson Avenger was created by writer and artist Jim Chambers. He first appeared in Detective Comics #20 in October, 1938. He is DC's first masked superhero, predating Batman by more than half a year.
