The Council of Kangs is a fictional organization featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are associated with the Avengers line of titles and first appeared in Avengers #267 in May, 1986 in a story called "Time -- And Time Again!"
Description[]
The Council of Kangs was a coalition of different versions of Nathaniel Richards, aka Kang, who all hailed from alternate realities. They convened in a special chamber that existed outside of the spacetime continuum and monitored the actions of other Kangs as they continued to create branch alternate realities and timelines. The purpose of the council was to put an end to the chaos created by these irresponsible variant Kangs.

- In terms of purpose and function, the Council of Kangs are similar to that of the Time Variance Authority (TVA).
- The Council of Kangs have also been represented in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They appeared in a mid-credit stinger in the 2023 film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
