Coridite is a fictional mineral featured in the Masters of the Universe multimedia franchise. Technically, it made its first appearance in the cartoon series, "The Cosmic Comet", though it wasn't officially introduced in its natural state until episode 1x12, "Evil-Lyn's Plot".
Description[]
Coridite is a mineral native to the planet of Eternia. It was found in the Widget Mines in the Widget Woods. The diminutive Widgets mined Coridite for use by The Sorceress. The Sorceress used coridite to fashion the harness worn by He-Man, which enhanced his power. Skeletor believed that if he had used coridite in combination with his own dark powers, it would then give him the strength to defeat He-Man. To this end, he and the other Evil Warriors journeyed to the Widget Woods to steal their coridite. [1]
