The Controller's slave discs are a fictional item featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and are associated with the Iron Man line of comic titles. They first appeared in Iron Man, Volume 1 #12 in April, 1969.
The slave discs, also known as control discs, were developed by Vincent and Basil Sandhurst. The Controller uses small palm-sized discs that affix themselves to the back of the neck of human targets. These discs enable the Controller to assume complete mental control over his victims. The original discs were networked into the Absorbatron, but the Controller later upgraded the discs with technology from Titan, allowing them to channel energy from the discs through his exoskeleton.
