The computer tyrants are an assembly of robots that were designed by high-level intellectual minds of the planet Colu. They were created to govern the day-to-day operations of the planet, leaving the native Coluans the ability to pursue their own intellectual ventures. As is often the case when you give a computerized mind just a smidge of power, they naturally evolved into a corrupt entity that took control of the planet. Seriously... has NO ONE ever watched Terminator?
