The Collinwood staircase is a fictional location featured on the original Gothic daytime soap opera Dark Shadows.
Description[]
The staircase was a standard straight staircase that was located in the foyer of Collinwood. Upon entering the main foyer area from the front doors, the staircase was located immediately to the right facing inward and led to the second floor landing.

Under instruction from Samantha Collins, Hortense Smiley attempted to secretly retrieve Tad Collins' belongings to sneak him out of the house. Quentin Collins appeared at the top of the stairs in a threatening manner, surprising Hortense. He came down the stairs and grabbed her arm violently, knowing that she was aiding his wife in attempting to take his son away. (Dark Shadows: 1128)
