The Collins family album is a fictional item featured on the original Gothic daytime soap opera Dark Shadows: The Series.
History[]
The Collins family album was but one of several such books located at Collinwood. It contained notations, journal entries, photographs and illustrations relating to the history of the Collins family. When Julia Hoffman came to reside at Collinwood, she worked under the pretense of studying the family's history. When Roger Collins and Elizabeth Collins Stoddard grew concerned over David Collins' affection for an imaginary friend named Sarah Collins, Julia found an old portrait of Sarah in the album, which dated back to the late 18th century.
