Cody's Rodeo Extravaganza is a fictional business featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is associated with the Hulk line of titles and first appeared in The Incredible Hulk, Volume 2 #265 in November, 1981 in a story titled "You Get What You Need".
History[]
Victoria Star joined Cody's Rodeo Extravaganza as a horse-rider and sharpshooter, along with Drew Daniels, who could whip up whirlwinds as the Texas Twister. However, their career choices proved disappointing when all they could draw was a thousand dollars per show. They complained to their employer, who told them that their stipends were in their contracts.
Drew overheard a radio broadcast from Rick Jones, sending out an S.O.S. for the Avengers. Texas Twister and Shooting Star decided the "shake the dust" off their unsatisfying career and become "gen-u-ine" super heroes. [1]
