Clive Peters is a fictional mental patient and a minor character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He is associated with the Hellblazer line of titles and made a single appearance in the "Guys & Dolls, Part Two: Nativity Infernal" story from Hellblazer #60 in December, 1992.
Biography[]
Clive Peters was not what one would consider "a soul worth saving". In 1981, he violently sexually assaulted and murdered five children. Part of Clive's exploits were influenced by a low-level shit demon known as Gout, who took possession of Clive's body.
Clive was remanded to the Whitechapel Hospital for the Criminally Insane. In 1992, he was visited by the occultist adventurer known as John Constantine. John knew that Peters had been possessed and interrogated Gout through Peters hoping to glean some interest as to who on either side of the Earthly realm would have an interest in the concept of a angel mating with a succubus. Gout had no information to offer him, however. This still proved informative to John, as apparently Hell had yet to learn about the union. [1]
Weaknesses[]
- Mental instability: Well, he's in a mental health facility, ain't he?
