Classic X-Men was an ongoing American comic book series published by Marvel Comics from 1986 to 1995 totalling 110 issues. Each issue featured two stories: the first was a reprint of a story from a classic issue of Uncanny X-Men beginning with the formation of the "All-New, All-Different" X-Men as well as an original story that served as a back-up tale, often spotlighting a single member of the team. Many of the back-up stories chronologically take place during the time that the first reprinted story takes place, supplying additional detail to the events of the time.
