Haines and Samuel Weil with a screenplay written by Lloyd Kaufman, Richard W. Haines, Stuart Strutin and Mark Rudnitsky based on an original story concept ddeveloped by Haines. It was produced by Troma Entertainment. It premiered in the United Kingdom on August 7th, 1986. It's first U.S. release was in Nashville, Tennessee on September 5th, 1986. It opened to limited theatrical release in the United States on December 12th, 1986.
