Clancy Brown is an American film and television actor who has also provided voice work for dozens of characters in various animated features and video games. He was born Clarence J. Brown III in Urbana, Ohio on January 5th, 1959. His first major acting role was in the 1983 film Bad Boys, but his first science fiction feature was the 1984 movie The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. Due to his height and deep, resonant voice, Brown is usually cast in the role of villains such as Kurgan from the 1986 adventure/fantasy film Highlander. He later went on to play a sympathetic version of the Frankenstein Monster named Viktor in Franc Roddam's The Bride. From the mid 1990s onward, Brown's greatest asset was his voice and he focused his talents primarily in animated features. His animation credits include programs such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Ben 10: Alien Force, Biker Mice from Mars, Duck Dodgers, Megas XLR and many more.
