Biography[]
Cindy Marshall was a twenty-three-year-old woman and the younger sister of Drew Marshall. In early 2009, the Marshalls were living in the town of Bunkie, Louisiana. Cindy worked as a waitress at Big Patty's Pie House.
Cindy became a "fangbanger", which is someone who willingly engages in sex with vampires. This drove her brother insane and he attacked her, ultimately strangling her to death. It is unclear whether Drew murdered her intentionally or by accident. Shortly thereafter, Drew changed his identity and relocated to Bon Temps, where he began a serial spree of murders, killing those who have had sexual congress with vampires.
Sookie Stackhouse, a Fae halfling, had a vision of Cindy's death and traveled to Bunkie with Sam Merlotte to investigate the meaning behind the vision.
