History[]
Chute's was a business located in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Gotham City. Corrupt Gotham City Police Department detective Arnold Flass would go there when he was off-duty to play poker with his cop friends.
One evening, James Gordon, after suffering from a severe beating by Flass and his cronies, tracked his partner down to Chute's. He waited outside in his car until everyone had left. As Arnold Flass emerged, Gordon jumped him and beat him up. He left him hog-tied in the snow naked overnight.
