- Child's Play and the "Chucky" character were created by producer and screenwriter Don Mancini and began as a slasher film in 1988, and has expanded into numerous sequels, a spin-off television series, and a reboot film.
- Randall Jenkins is the fifth character on the series portrayed by actor Devon Sawa. In season one he played twin brothers Lucas & Logan Wheeler. In season two he played Father Bryce and in the first half of season three he played U.S. President James Collins.

- The title of this episode is taken from Panic Room, which is a 2002 psycho-thriller film directed by David Fincher and starring Jodie Foster & Kristen Stewart.
- As with every episode, the logo title card is specially tailored to the plot elements of the episode. This episode displays a digital map that show nuclear weapons being detonated.
