Chris Carter is the creator and executive producer of the hit television series The X-Files. He was also the guiding force behind the show's two spin-off series Millennium and The Lone Gunmen. He directed ten episodes of The X-Files as well as the 2008 film The X-Files: I Want to Believe. He also created the VR simulator television series Harsh Realm.
