Description[]
The Chaste are a secret organization devoted towards combating the evil secret society known as The Hand. They are not a religious order in the strictest sense, but they do adhere to a strict code, which includes strenuous physical discipline. The Chaste's compound was located in a clearing high atop the peak of cliff, which was referred to as The Wall. As part of the indoctrination examination, potential members had to scale The Wall before even being considered for membership into The Chaste.
For many years, the leader of the Chaste was a man known only as Stick. Stick had indoctrinated Elektra Natchios into The Chaste, even though she has also served as an assassin for The Hand.
