Charles Xavier formerly held the title Shivarn'n Halanau during the time that he was betrothed to Lilandra Neramani. The title is given to the Royal Consort of the Majestrix and affords him some measure of power within the Shi'ar command structure. Xavier invoked the authority of being the Shivarn'n Halanau to prevent Admiral Lord Samédàr from launching an assault against the planet Earth. ^[4]
