Charlayne Woodard is an American film and television actress. She was born in Albany, New York on December 29th, 1953. Her first work in the speculative fiction genre was playing a Channel 3 News reporter named Janice Farrell in the 1993 superhero comedy film, The Meteor Man. The world has since forgiven her. In an oddly similar vein, Charlayne also appeared in the 2000 movie Unbreakable by director M. Night Shyamalan where she played the mother of Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson).
