Channing Ngo is a fictional college student and a minor character featured on the CW Network television series Supernatural. Played by actress Lissa Neptuno, she first appeared in the season seven episode "Reading is Fundamental". She also appeared in the season eight premiere, "We Need to Talk About Kevin".
Biography[]
Channing Ngo was an Asian-American in her late teens who attended college in Centreville, Michigan. She was classmates and eventually the girlfriend with another student named Kevin Tran. At some point between 2011 and 2012, Kevin left college, allegedly going to Princeton. During this time, Channing was possessed by a demon who worked for the King of Hell, Crowley.
Sam and Dean Winchester went looking for Kevin and traced his last known whereabouts to Centreville. The Channing demon spoke with them briefly, but reported their whereabouts to Crowley. After Sam and Dean found Kevin, Crowley learned of their location. No longer having a need for his underling's "meatsuit", he snapped Channing's neck right before Kevin's eyes. [1]
