Chan Liuchow is a fictional character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Strange Tales #89 in October, 1961.
Biography[]
Chan Liuchow was a citizen of Formosa, now known as Taiwan. When he was a teenager, he had a difficult relationship with his father, who fawned over older brother Chung Liuchow over his military accomplishments, citing that Chan had done nothing with his life.
Chan later proved his father wrong however, when he discovered the ancient alien space dragon known as Fin Fang Foom slumbering in a cave. Chan had two herbs with him, one of which would awaken the dragon, and the other which could put him to sleep. He awakened Fin Fang Foom and manipulated him into decimating the Communist Army.
