Chameleon worms are fictional animals featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They appeared in Darkhold: Pages from the Book of Sins #1 in October, 1992. Chameleon worms were of demonic origin and were brought about as a result of spell magic from the Darkhold. In Rome, Italy, a woman named Victoria Montesi had a dream that those around here were producing chameleon worms from their bodies. In the United States, a man named Donald J. Walsh used the Darkhold spells in the hopes of gaining immortality. Walsh's desires manifested in the form of chameleon worms that he produced from his mouth and body. Returning home, he continued to eschew more worms, and attacked his wife, Zephyr Walsh. Donald completely transformed into a writhing mass of chameleon worms.
