Ceti Alpha V is a fictional planet featured in the Star Trek mythos. It was a central location seen in the 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
Description[]
Ceti Alpha V was likely classified as an M-class planet at one point, but after the explosion of neighboring planet Ceti Alpha VI shifted the world's axis, everything was laid waste and it became a virtually uninhabitable desert wasteland.
The Ceti eels are indiginous to Ceti Alpha V. They are parasitic creatures that enter through a person's ear and wrap themselves around the cerebral cortex, eventually causing madness and ultimately death. These eels killed several of Khan's augment entourage, including his wife Marla McGivers.
