Tom MacRae is a British television writer born in the United Kingdom in 1980. Tom's first work in the science fiction genre was on the 2005 relaunch of the BBC series Doctor Who. He worked on a two-part storyline from series two of the show, which included the episodes "Rise of the Cybermen" and "The Age of Steel". These episodes featured David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor. He also wrote the series six episode, "The Girl Who Waited".
