Pat Welsh was a film voice actress. She was born in San Francisco, California on January 26th, 1915. Along with actress Debra Winger, Pat lent her raspy voice to the character of E.T. in Steven Spielberg's classic 1982 sci-fi/family film E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial. A year later, George Lucas cast her to provide the mechanical voice of Boushh, which was actually just Princess Leia in disguise in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Pat Welsh passed away in Green Valley, Arizona on January 26th, 1995 at the age of 79.
