Michael Rymer is a television producer born in Australia in 1963. He is best known for his work on the 2003Battlestar Galactica miniseries and the subsequent regular series. Rymer was a director on both parts of the miniseries as well as twenty-two episodes of the regular series. Beginning with season three of the show, Michael Rymer was credited as producer and worked in this capacity on forty episodes of the show between seasons three and four. He also wrote the teleplay for the two-part season three episode "Resurrection Ship". In addition, Rymer produced seven spin-off webisodes called Battlestar Galactica: Razor Flashbacks, which chronicled the adventures of a young William Adama, the main character from the regular series. In 2009, Rymer directed two episodes of the short-lived television series FlashForward. He directed "137 Sekunden" and "Black Swan".
