Kevin David Sorbo is an American actor born in Mound, Minnesota on September 24th, 1958. He is best known for playing the role of Dylan Hunt, Captain of the Andromeda Ascendant on the television series Andromeda appearing in all 110 episodes. He is also known for playing the titular greek hero Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Beginning with season two Andromeda, Sorbo became an executive producer on the program and served in such capacity for the remainder of the series (87 episodes).
