John Ottman is an American film score composer born in San Diego, California on July 6th, 1964. He has scored music accompaniements for dozens of films, specializing in the horror/thriller genre. For the sci-fi genre, he was the composer on the 2007 film The Invasion as well as the 2009 animated film Astro Boy. His other works include Urban Legends: Final Cut, Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Superman Returns.
