John Llewellyn Moxey was an American film and television director born in Argentina on February 26th, 1925. Known primarily for his work in the horror genre, Moxey's major contribution to the sci-fi genre was Gene Roddenberry's 1973 television film Genesis II. The film was originally intended as a pilot for a television series pitched to CBS, but it was never picked up. Nearly thirty years later, Moxey's film was retooled as the TV series Andromeda.
