Ivan F. Simpson was a Scottish film actor. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 4th, 1875. His career began in the early years of the silent film era and continued on through the early 1950s up until the time of his death. Ivan F. Simpson played the role of butler Mister Cotton in the 1940 sci-fi/horror film The Invisible Man Returns. This was his only work in the science fiction genre. Ivan F. Simpson passed away in New York City, New York on October 12th, 1951 at the age of 76.
