Charlie Adlard is a comic book graphic artist. He was born in Shrewsbury, England on April 8th, 1966. He has worked primarily for independent publishers such as Fleetway Publications, Topps Comics and Image Comics, but has also contributed his talents to the bigger comic houses like Marvel Comics and DC Comics. Like many English comic professionals, Charlie got his start working on popular titles such as 2000 A.D. and is one of many such artists who has contributed his talent to the growing Judge Dredd family of titles. Charlie Adlard is best known for his work on the critically acclaimed survival horror series The Walking Dead. He began on the title with issue #7, taking over for Tony Moore, and hasn't looked back since.
