Robert "Bob" Kane was a comic book artist born in New York City, New York on October 24th, 1915. He is best known for co-creating the infamous DC Comics character Batman, who first appeared in the pages of Detective Comics #27 in 1939.
Bob Kane passed away in Los Angeles, California on November 3rd, 1998 at the age of 83.
