Anne Nagel, born Anne Dolan, was an American film actress. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 29th, 1915. Her career in film spanned from the early 1930s to the late 1950s. She appeared in a total of eighty-eight films over a twenty-five year period.
Anne's first work in the speculative fiction genre was playing a woman named Leonore Case in the 1940 movie The Green Hornet. Nagel reprised the role of Leonore for the film's sequel, The Green Hornet Strikes Again! released that same year. She then went on to play a woman named Jean in The Invisible Woman, which was also released in 1940. In 1941, Anne played June Lawrence in the sci-fi/horror film, Man Made Monster. In 1949, Nagel played a brunette in a bar in the adventure film Mighty Joe Young.
Anne Nagel passed away in Hollywood, California on July 6th, 1966 at the age of 50.
