Alan Harris is a film and television actor, usually cast in the role of an extra. In the 1970s, he appeared in two episodes of the sci-fi series Space: 1999, playing an Alphan in both episodes. He appeared in "Breakaway" in 1975 and "Space Brain" in 1976.
In 1977, he played a rebel escort to Princess Leia in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. In 1980, he played two roles in the sequel film, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. He played the bounty hunter Bossk and he played a security guard on Bespin. He was also a stand-in for C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels in that film as well as Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In 1999, Alan was a stand-in for Terence Stamp's character, Chancellor Finis Valorum in the Star Wars prequel film, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
