Adam Roarke was an American film and television actor born Richard Jordan Gerler in Brooklyn, New York on August 8th, 1937. His first work in the science fiction genre was the low-budget 1966 b-movie Women of the Prehistoric Planet, written and directed by Arthur C. Pierce. In the film, Adam played a character named Harris.

That same year, Adam Roarke had an uncredited role in the original unaired pilot episode of Star Trek called "The Cage". He played Chief Petty Officer Garrison, a crew member aboard the starship Enterprise. Archival footage of Adam Roarke from "The Cage" was inserted into scenes from the season one Star Trek episodes "The Menagerie (Part 1)" and "The Menagerie (Part 2)".

In 1977, Adam played a character named Nash in the "Killer Wind" episode of The Six Million Dollar Man.

In 1979, Adam Roarke played a character named Spiro in the "Up, Up and Away" episode of the sci-fi comedy Salvage 1.

Adam Roarke passed away in Euless, Texas on April 27th, 1996 at the age of 58.
