Notes & Trivia[]
When Susan reveals her breasts to seduce the creature, it is unknown if that is Crampton's actual nipples or if she was wearing nipple patches.
This is the third Stuart Gordon film in which Barbara Crampton's character reveals her breasts and has them groped by the antagonist. The other films are Re-Animator and From Beyond.
In the original climax of the movie, Susan was supposed to be completely naked in order to lure the creature away from her daughter, however Barbara Crampton felt it was too cold in the castle to get fully naked, instead she opted to only take off her blouse and bra in the final cut.
After Susan unbuttons her blouse and bra for the creature, a cross necklace is clearly visible between Susan's breasts, although it seems obvious the creature isn't looking at the necklace.
