Castle Evil is a fictional residence featured in comic books published by Warren Publishing. It first appeared in the first story in Vampirella #2 in November, 1969.
Castle Evil was a castle located in the Black Forest of the Kingdom of Vaalgania. It was occupied by the sorceress known as Evily and her impish servant, Conjure. One of the items found in the castle was a mystical looking glass, from which Evily could obtain glimpses of mystical insight. The bottom of the castle contained a dungeon filled with the undead. Evily would use her magic to resurrect them into obedient warriors. Vampirella came to the castle to challenge Evily. Evily tried to use her magic on Vampi, but she evaded the spell by changing into a bat. The effect rebounded off the looking glass back upon her, transforming her into a cat.
