Casey was a human and a computer operator who worked for the Time Variance Authority. Like most, he was unaware of the fact that he had a life prior to working for the TVA, and believed that he was bred by the Time-Keepers for the explicit purpose of service to the organization. Casey worked at a standard office desk. He had variant iterations of various Infinity Gems, which he kept as paper weights in his top desk drawer. In the standard timeline, these were items of great power, but in the null-zone of the TVA, they were little more than just sparkly rocks. When the TVA captured an Asgardian chronal variant named Loki Laufeyson, they incarcerated him, and held him for questioning. Loki escaped and accosted Casey, demanding to know the location of the Tesseract. Loki threatened to gut him like a fish, then had to explain to Casey what a fish was, as Casey had never been out from behind desk before. Frustrated with the low-level worker, Loki promised that if he refused to cooperate, he would be met with "Death, Casey! Violent, painful death!" At this point, Casey was a bit more willing to comply with the Asgardian's demands.
Terrifier[]
Casey was a young Caucasian woman with brown hair. Presumably, she hailed from a location known as Realmsville. Casey was sitting in the Realmsville train station in the wee hours of the morning following Halloween. Two drunken partiers briefly entered the area inquiring about the time the next train was scheduled to arrive. She also asked Casey for a cigarette. Moments later, an off-putting looking clown appeared before Casey, sitting in the row of chairs directly across from her. After startling her with a bulb horn, the clown got up and sat down next to her. He presented Casey with a bouquet of plastic flowers, but Casey freaked out when she discovered a cockroach crawling around within. The clown silently laughed at her, then injected with a drug that knocked her out.
