Carter J. Burke is a fictional government weasel and a supporting character/antagonist in the Aliens film series by Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation. Played by actor Paul Reiser, he appeared in the 1986 film Aliens.
Overview[]
Carter Burke was an employee of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation and was the Special Projects Director for the company, and had a vested interest in procuring xenomorph samples for Weyland's Bio-weapons division. This came about as a result of discovering testimony provided by Ellen Ripley during an inquest in which she described such a creature and how it had succeeded in killing the entire crew of the USCSS Nostromo.
