Carrie Fisher is an American actress best known for playing the role of Princess Leia Organa in the original Star Wars trilogy. She was born Carrie Frances Fisher on October 21st, 1956 in Beverly Hills, California to musical celebrities Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. Fisher has been known to spoof the character from time to time. In the 2000 satirical horror film Scream 3, Fisher played a woman named Bianca who claimed to have once slept with George Lucas (director of Star Wars). In the 2008 comedy Fanboys, Carrie Fisher made a cameo appearance as a Doctor who inspires an ill patient to fulfill his dream of breaking into Skywalker Ranch to sneak a peak at the new Star Wars movie (which, at the time was Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace). That same year, Fisher provided the voice for Princess Leia once again for the Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II special. She also provided the voice for the mother of a Krayt Dragon, a creature germain to the Star Wars universe.
