A Nightmare on Elm Street[]
Carlos was a young Latino man who lived in Central City, Ohio. Due to a childhood accident, Carlos was rendered deaf in his right ear, and had to wear a hearing aid. As a young man, he became a resident of the Recovery House Youth Shelter. Shelter administrator Maggie Burroughs sought to bring another resident, an amnesiac referred to as "John Doe", back to his old neighborhood in Springwood. Carlos and two others named Tracy Swan and Spencer stowed away in the van and journeyed with them. Their search for John's roots brought them to the ruins of 1428 Elm Street - the former home of Nancy Thompson, who was the first to ever defeat the demonic dream entity known as Freddy Krueger.
Buffyverse[]
Carlos is a fictional bartender, and a minor character featured on the WB Network television series Angel. He was played by actor Jared Poe and appeared in the 17th episode of season five, "Underneath". Carlos was a demon who worked as a bartender. In 2004, Carlos was in a great mood for he was about to get married to the love of his life. He expressed his delight to one of this patrons, Lorne. Lorne, who was normally an affable and plucky sort of demonic gent, was in a bit of a state, and really brought the room down with his sour demeanor.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles[]
Carlos, surname unknown, was a young man of Mexican descent who lived in a house in Los Angeles, California in the late 2000s. He owned several pit bulls and seemed to be the leader of a criminal cartel engaged in various illegal enterprises, not the least of which included, the manufacturing of fake I.D.s. Carlos was the nephew of a man named Enrique Salceda, who was reputed to be the "best fake paper man" around. When Enrique retired from the enterprise, Carlos picked up his business.
Upon referral from Enrique, Sarah Connor came to Carlos looking for three sets of I.D.s. Carlos told her that it would cost $20,000, but they would be the best false credentials she could ever hope to get. During the course of conversation, Sarah learned about the destruction of the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001 (Sarah was a time traveler who arrived in the year 2007 from 1999, and thus was unaware of the terrorist attacks in New York City).
Sarah went out to gain the money. When she returned, Carlos fashioned the credentials for her, which gave her the surname of Baum. As she was leaving, she heard Carlos refer to his uncle as a "rat" to his friends in Spanish. Sarah confronted Enrique about this, and moments later, he was shot dead by the Terminator, Cameron Phillips. [1]
A few days later, F.B.I. agent James Ellison came to Carlos' home to ask him about his uncle. Carlos did not provide any information of value, but Ellison was convinced that he was not responsible for Enrique's death. [2]
