Carl Ferris is a fictional entrepreneur and a supporting character featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He first appeared in Showcase #22 in October, 1959. A version of the character also appeared in the 2011 Green Lantern feature film where he was played by actor Jay O. Sanders.
Biography[]
Carl Ferris was a business owner and the founder of Ferris Aircraft, which was based out of Coast City. One of Carl's best test pilots was Hal Jordan, who would later go on to become the cosmic hero known as Green Lantern. When Ferris retired, he left the company to his daughter, Carol Ferris.
