Biography[]
Carina was a young Krylorian woman, who possibly hailed from her species' home planet of Krylor. Nothing is known of Carina's early life other than that she resided in The Rip on the planetoid known as Knowhere. She was a slave of Taneleer Tivan - the Collector, and served as his assistant in the Tivan Group, which was headquartered at the Collector's museum.
In 2014, Thor Odinson brought a powerful relic known as the Aether to Knowhere so the Collector could keep it safely contained. A short time later, Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Groot, and Rocket came to Knowhere with another such object, The Orb. Recognizing the power of the Orb, Carina sought to use it to free herself from Taneleer's control. However, her body was not strong enough to contain orb's energies and it disintegrated her. [2]
