Captain Britain's quarterstaff is a fictional item featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It first appeared in Captain Britain Magazine #1 in October, 1976.
The quarterstaff was a melee weapon used by the English costumed super-hero, Brian Braddock, aka Captain Britain. The quarterstaff was painted in the colors of blue, white, and red to match Captain Britain's costume. It was housed in a special container on the back of his costume when not in use. The quarterstaff was collapsible and could be extended to its full length by toggling a switch on the hand-piece. The hand-grip was specially molded to the contours of Brian Braddock's hand.
