- This is the second appearance of Madame Hydra. She appeared last in Captain America #110.
- This is the first, and to date, only known appearance of the Mankiller robot.
- Rick Jones became Captain America's partner and assumed the identity of Bucky in Captain America #110.
- The original Bucky was James Buchanan Barnes, who was Captain America's sidekick and partner during World War II. He allegedly died in April, 1945, but in truth, he was taken in by Russian scientists and brainwashed into a becoming an assassin known as the Winter Soldier.
