  • Eric Gruning's surname is spelled Grunning in this issue. Later stories will spell it as Gruning.
  • This is the first and only appearance to date of Manfred, one of the Red Skull's soldiers. It is possible that he may have also appeared in Captain America #102 as an unnamed guard.
