The Canaries are a fictional vigilante task force featured in the DC Television Universe. They appeared on the TV series Arrow and were introduced in the fourth episode of season seven called "Level Two".
Description[]
The Canaries were a vigilante response group that operated in Star City in the year 2040. Their mission was to put a stop to the rampant corruption consuming the neighborhood known as The Glades, a lot of which was perpetuated by a group known as the Deathstrokes as well as former vigilante-turned-mayor, Rene Ramirez. The Canaries was founded by former Team Arrow members Dinah Drake and Black Siren, with Felicity Smoak serving as financial benefactor and technical operations administrator. The members of the group were the legacy heroes of Team Arrow, which included Mia Smoak - the daughter of Felicity Smoak and the late Oliver Queen, Zoe Ramirez - daughter of Rene Ramirez, Connor Hawke - son of Ben Turner & adopted son of John Diggle, and William Clayton - the son of Oliver Queen and Samantha Clayton.
