Calodan is a fictional city featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. It is associated with The Mandalorian streaming series on Disney+ and first appeared in the fifth episode of season two, "The Jedi".
History[]
Calodan is a walled city on the planet of Corvus. In the years following the Galactic Civil War, it was led by a magistrate named Morgan Elsbeth. Morgan led with an iron rule, keeping the local villages impoverished, and frequently torturing and executing those who spoke against her.
Bounty hunter Din Djarin came to Corvus in search of a Jedi and met with Elsbeth. Elsbeth hired him to hunt and kill Ahsoka Tano, but Din never formally accepted the bounty. He found Ahsoka, but the two actually teamed up to face Elsbeth. Tano fought with Morgan in mortal combat, ultimately defeating her, which resulted in the liberation of Calodan. With Morgan deposed, a villager named Wing was given the title of Governor over the city. [1]
