Biography[]
CC-2237 was one of the original clones developed on the planet Kamino by the native geneticists. He was born from the genetic template of bounty hunter Jango Fett. Like all clones, CC-2237 underwent biological modification that accelerated their growth cycle. CC-2237 was also implanted with a sleeper program of various directives, that could be activated at any time by the Supreme Chancellor. This included the controversial Order 66, which carried the directive of executing all members of the Order of the Jedi on-sight, who had now been branded as traitors to the Republic. All mature clones were embedded into the Grand Army of the Republic and pressed into service to fight against the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. This conflict became historically known as the Clone Wars.
Prior to the execution of Order 66, CC-2237 served as a pilot under General Obi-Wan Kenobi at the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY. He was later part of the Grand Army contingent that offered military support to the Pau'ans on Utapau.
